These Terms of Service govern your use of AirportScope. Please read them before using the service.

The service

AirportScope is an aircraft-spotting information service for aviation enthusiasts, spotters and photographers. It compares activity at selected UK airports with aircraft the subscriber still needs and provides personalised aircraft-needs information.

Depending on your preferences and subscription, AirportScope may provide scheduled reports, on-demand reports, live map views and printable checklist views.

Enthusiast use only

AirportScope is not an operational aviation service. Information from AirportScope must not be relied upon for navigation, flight planning, safety-critical, security or operational purposes.

Information quality and availability

Aircraft, movement and position information can be delayed, incomplete, unavailable or inaccurate. AirportScope does not guarantee that every aircraft or movement will be detected or reported.

Service availability may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, technical faults or third-party service problems.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for providing accurate account information. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Aircraft data

You may provide or synchronise your own aircraft spotting-history data so AirportScope can determine which aircraft you still need. You are responsible for making sure the aircraft data connected to your account is accurate and suitable for use with the service.

Subscription and pricing

Current pricing is £4.99 per month or £50 per year. There is no free trial.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period until cancelled. Payment is taken through the payment system used by AirportScope.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time through your account. Cancellation prevents the next renewal and access continues until the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise stated.

14-day cancellation and refund

A new subscriber may cancel within 14 days of starting their subscription and request a full refund. To request this, contact support@airportscope.co.uk.

This does not affect any statutory rights you may have as a UK consumer.

Changes to pricing or service

AirportScope may change its features or pricing in future. Existing subscribers should be given appropriate notice where a change affects their subscription.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse AirportScope, disrupt the service, attempt to reverse engineer it, gain unauthorised access, scrape it excessively, or use it unlawfully.

Intellectual property

The AirportScope website, branding and service software or content remain the property of Hunglish Limited or applicable licensors. You retain ownership of your own supplied aircraft-history data.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights.

AirportScope is provided as an enthusiast information service. AirportScope is not responsible for decisions made using spotting, movement or position information, including decisions made because information is delayed, incomplete, unavailable or inaccurate.

Information about how AirportScope handles personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

AirportScope may update these terms from time to time. The current version will be published on the website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not remove any mandatory legal rights you may have in the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
